Rick Breeden is a native New Mexican, having been born in Rosewll and raised in Albuquerque. He began his duties as President of the New Mexico Baptist Foundation on September 1, 2007. Prior to coming to the Foundation Rick was a bank examiner in Houston and Los Angeles, and since 2001, a supervisory examiner for the FDIC in Seattle, WA. He received a B.B.A. degree in accounting from Wayland Baptist University, Plainview, TX and an M.B.A. from Azusa Pacific University, Azusa, CA. Additionally, he is a graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking.
Martha R. Speakman has served as the Vice President of the Church Finance Corportation since November 16, 2001. Prior to that date, she served as the Administrator of the Church Finance Corporation from April 2000. Martha also serves as the Corporate Secretary. She received her B.B.A. degree from Baylor University, with a major in Accounting, in 1972. She has over 20 years experience in accounting, working in the banking, construction, non-profit, private, government and public accounting sectors. She has also served as a consultant in the fields of volunteer management, fund raising, grant writing and health and exercise. She also served as the director of the Louisiana Council on Child Abuse, a statewide non-profit child abuse prevention program, and more recently was the director of the Retired Senior Volunteer Program for the City of Albuquerque.
Sharon Glaser, Treasurer, Assistant Vice President of Church Finance Corporation, is a native New Mexican, born and raised in Albuquerque, came to the Foundation on April 30, 2001. Prior to working at NMBF, she worked in banking for over 25 years. She also worked with an accounting firm doing accounting for various businesses around Albuquerque. She served as bookkeeper for Monterey Baptist Church for several years.
